2. Cash Payout Upgrade: Ministry of Agriculture Launches Joint Promotion with Four Major E-Commerce Platforms
With the launch of the NT$10,000 universal cash payout, the Ministry of Agriculture has introduced the “Cash Bonus Upgrade: Enjoy Premium Agricultural Gifts” campaign to encourage the purchase of domestic agricultural and fishery products.
From now until the end of the year, the ministry is partnering with four major online platforms—Taiwan Agriculture Carnival, Buy Fish Market, AgriGoods Direct, and Rural Good Things—to offer promotional packages, online events, prize draws, and agro-tourism activities. A dedicated campaign page is available on the Ministry’s official website.
Buy Fish Market is the first to roll out promotional offers, followed by Taiwan Agriculture Carnival and AgriGoods Direct. The Rural Good Things platform will conclude the campaign with promotions on local specialty products and rural tourism, including a rural goods market on December 6–7 at the Guanxi Service Area.
The Ministry stated that the joint promotion leverages holiday demand to strengthen consumer support for domestic agricultural and fishery goods, enhance cross-sector collaboration, and expand market visibility, creating a year-end “Agricultural Shopping Month” that benefits both consumers and producers.
